Please being your visa application process as soon as possible. Some countries take several months to process applications. For information on obtaining your visa, access the U.S. Department of State visa information website.
For Visa purposes, an Invitation Letter from the American Association of Diabetes Educators may be downloaded and personalized with your name, company and mailing address. The invitation letter will print with the American Association of Diabetes Educators letterhead and will include an electronic signature. It should be accepted as an official document. If you have any questions regarding the letter, please email the Meeting Services team.
Please note: Invitation letters imply no obligation by the American Association of Diabetes Educators to cover registration fees, accommodations, travel expenses, or any other costs associated with participation in this meeting. Regulations for countries that do not require Visas to enter the United States: International travelers from countries that participate in the Visa Waiver Program (VWP) may apply for admission to the United States online. The Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) requires that international travelers go to the ESTA website and fill out an electronic application before coming to the United States. If the application is approved, it is good for two years and can be renewed easily. Travelers are no longer required to fill out the hardcopy I-94W form before each trip. ESTA will speed up the process for travelers, enable customs officials to screen passengers in advance, and improve security. U.S.-bound travelers are recommended to apply for a Travel Authorization as soon as they begin making travel plans.
